چکیده
Abstract In the ( G , H )-isomorphism game, a verifier interacts with two non-communicating players (called provers), by privately sending each of them random vertex from either or . The goal is to convince that graphs and are isomorphic. recent work along Atserias et al. (J Comb Theory Ser B 136:89–328, 2019) we showed can be convinced non-isomorphic isomorphic, if provers allowed share quantum resources. this paper model classical graph isomorphism linear constraints over certain complicated convex cones, which then relax pair tractable models (semidefinite programs). Our main result complete algebraic characterization corresponding equivalence relations on in terms appropriate matrix algebras. techniques an interesting mix algebra, combinatorics, optimization, information.

Algebraic characterizations of graph imbeddability in surfaces and pseudosurfaces
Given a finite connected graph G and specifications for a closed, connected pseudosurface, we characterize when G can be imbedded in a closed, connected pseudosurface with the given specifications. The specifications for the pseudosurface are: the number of face-connected components, the number of pinches, the number of crosscaps and handles, and the dimension of the first Z2-homology group. Th...
متن کاملLimitations of Algebraic Approaches to Graph Isomorphism Testing
We investigate the power of graph isomorphism algorithms based on algebraic reasoning techniques like Gröbner basis computation. The idea of these algorithms is to encode two graphs into a system of equations that are satisfiable if and only if if the graphs are isomorphic, and then to (try to) decide satisfiability of the system using, for example, the Gröbner basis algorithm. In some cases th...
متن کاملGraph Invariants and Graph Isomorphism
In graph theory, Graph Isomorphism is an important issue. Information in the database can be stored in the form of graph. Graph represents the structural information in an efficient way. Graph Isomorphism problem is to determine if there exists one to one correspondence between the structures of two graphs. Graph isomorphism problem arises in many fields such as chemistry, switching theory, inf...
متن کاملGraph Isomorphism
While in general it is not known whether there is a polynomial time algorithm to decide whether two given graphs are isomorphic, there are polynomial-time algorithms for certain subsets of graphs, including but not limited to planar graphs and graphs with bounded valence. In this thesis, we will give a brief introduction on the Graph Isomorphism Problem and its relations to complexity theory. W...
متن کاملGraph fibrations, graph isomorphism, and PageRank
PageRank is a ranking method that assigns scores to web pages using the limit distribution of a random walk on the web graph. A fibration of graphs is a morphism that is a local isomorphism of inneighbourhoods, much in the same way a covering projection is a local isomorphism of neighbourhoods. We show that a deep connection relates fibrations and Markov chains with restart, a particular kind o...
